The design of 原, aims to create a space filled with heritage by bringing out elements from the past; allowing the targeted guests to experience how a traditional shophouse in Singapore is like. It would be built to bring back a hint of the olden days. Situated near the Central Business District (CBD), this shophouse would be designed to let the guests travel back in time, a timeless stay. Also, creating a border between the modern skyscrapers and traditional shophouses. While, reflecting the Chinese heritage representing the history of Boat Quay.
